black and white

Here's a couple of shots that I took for another one of our assignments. We had to post our pictures in black and white to show the contrast between the lights and darks.

flowers for class

So far I've been really enjoying my photography class. It's been really interesting learning about the history and basics of photography. We have photo assignments about once a week to incorporate what we learn into photos. These are just some of the photos I took for my framing and focal length assignment. Photography is all about choosing and eliminating.

Can I keep you guys?

Emi is such a natural at this!

Poor guy had shots earlier that day so he wasn't feeling well.

I took a few photos of my beautiful little niece and handsome little nephew for my photography class! Aren't they just adorable?  They are so great with the camera, especially Emi with all her little poses!! What a natural!! The camera seriously loves them!! Wish I could take them home with me!!

Enjoying Summer

The summer months seem to just fly by so quickly and sadly, summer is almost coming to an end. We are just trying to enjoy the last bit of summer before it gets cold again so now that Max is 4 months old, we've been taking him out more and he seems to be enjoying it a lot. When Max was younger, he would cry a lot whenever we leave the house to go anywhere but now that he's older, he loves being outside.

My 3 Month Old Max

Summer Days

A Couple Newborn Photos

My sister, Eveline, took some amazing photos of Max when he was just 2 weeks old! She is such a great photographer! I love how she was able to capture his personality in front of the camera! Now he looks so different from when he was first born. I can't believe how much babies change just within the first year alone! Thanks, Eveline, for taking these gorgeous pictures of us! Please check out my sister's photography at www.blog.littlewunders.com
